Our Teams Are Mobilized for Operation Clean Harbor

Protecting our marine environment is a key priority for Maribay Toulon Plaisance. As part of Operation Rade Propre, our teams made a tangible contribution to this broad collective initiative onJune 2atPort de Toulon Vieille Darse on June 4 at port de Saint-Mandrier.

Thanks to everyone’s efforts, the 2026 edition made it possible to achieve the following:

• Nearly 60 m³ of cemented tiresand numerous other types of waste were removed from the seabed.
• Intensive cleanup operationsalong the coastline and on the seabed.
• Awareness-raising initiativestargeting the general public and young people.

These joint efforts are part of a long history of commitment to the harbor: over the past 16 years, more than 200 dumpsters of trash have been removed, including an impressive 155 m³ in 2024 alone.

We would like to remind you that 80% of marine debris comes from land. That is why, at Maribay Toulon Plaisance, we are convinced that every action counts. Together, let’s work toward a cleaner ocean and a boating culture that is increasingly respectful of our precious ecosystem.
