Activities Rade de Toulon

On land or sea, the bay of Toulon offers a myriad of experiences to live and share.

Europe's most beautiful harbor

Toulon

Nestled in the protective arms of the Rade, Toulon is the best-kept secret on the Mediterranean coast. More discreet than Marseille or Saint-Tropez, in the center of which it is situated, this lifestyle destination abounds in treasures to discover. As you explore it, you'll find one pleasant surprise after another. It's the ideal stopover for lovers of the Mediterranean: Nature, Arts, Gastronomy, Museums, Music...

La Seyne-sur-Mer

La Seyne-sur-Mer, with its 25 km of coastline featuring fine sandy beaches and coves. On the land side, the Cap Sicié massif, a marvellous wooded setting classified as a nature reserve, offers an unrivalled view of land, sea and sky. This preserved natural area is a treasure trove of biodiversity and an ideal place for forest walkers. La Seyne-sur-Mer will also delight you with its rich heritage: Tamaris, Saint-Elme, Fabrégas and les Sablettes offer tourist and architectural attractions. Near the port stands the Pont Levant, a vestige of the old shipyards and a landmark of the town. The Parc de la Navale, an island of greenery in the heart of the town center, reminds visitors of the shipyards' former glory. Further afield, along the coast or on the heights of the town, the military forts of Fort de l'Eguillette, Fort Napoléon and Musée Balaguier transport you back in time to relive, for a moment, the great History.

Saint-Mandrier-sur-Mer

Nestled around its harbor, Saint-Mandrier-sur-Mer has preserved its maritime heritage (traditional boats - the pointus - stand side by side with pleasure craft) and preserved its fishing village soul. Closing the Toulon harbor like a lock, the Saint-Mandrier-sur-Mer peninsula is a haven of serenity.
